In September of last year I decided I wanted to make a cupcake hat for my yougest daughter's 1st Birthday. I couldn't find a pattern that I liked so I created my own. About a week later, and a LOT of trial and error, I finished. Shortly thereafter, friends' family, and complete strangers who saw my daughter sporting her new hat, we're asking me if i was taking orders. In Janruary 2010 I submitted my cupcake hat design into the Vanna's Choice contest being hosted by Michael's craft stores. The winners will be announced at the end of this month. I'm kepping my fingers (and needles) crossed! Wish me luck and Happy knitting!
